Anniversary of his death in 1927, underglaze blue sceptre and red imperial orb mark 1870-1945, indistinct embossed mark, brushed decoration number 125/429 and brush mark, cylindrical paw-footed cup with swinging spout and fine polychrome overglaze painting as an oval medallion on the front with portrait of the famous composer (1770-1827) after a marble bust by the sculptor Franz Klein (1779-1840) in grisaille technique, signature and flanking angel, etched gold staffage, blue rim line and gold edges, good condition, h 10.5 cm.
