geometrisch anmutende Komposition von Flächen ohne Farbübergang, de Jonge erhebt den Anspruch, mit seinen Gemälden die Grenze zur Poesie zu transzendieren, zum Verständnis des Œuvres beigegeben: Bildband mit Gedichten und Essays zu Joosts Gemälden, "Joost de Jonge (Hg.), Water on Water. Painted Poetry & Painted Poetics. An Ekphrasis Notion Volume III, Venlo 2021", Öl auf Leinwand, rechts unten signiert "JOOST" sowie datiert "[20]07", rückseitig auf dem Keilrahmen nummeriert ("9") sowie mit Etikett der Rahmenhandlung "Krützmann" aus Amsterdam, in weißem Schattenfugenrahmen, Falzmaße ca. 35 x 45 cm. Künstlerinfo: niederländischer Maler (1975 Utrecht), Einzelausstellungen in den Niederlanden, Spanien und den USA sowie in Gruppenausstellungen in Mailand und Bologna, Studium der Kunst in Den Haag, Barcelona und Utrecht, später Gastprofessor an der VU University in Amsterdam, dabei stellte er sein "Ekphrasis"-Projekt vor, im Zuge dessen zu seinen Bildern Gedichte, Essays und Melodien entstanden, Quelle: Website des Künstlers.

Painted Poetry & Painted Poetics. An Ekphrasis Notion Volume III, Venlo 2021", oil on canvas, signed "JOOST" and dated "[20]07" lower right, numbered ("9") on the reverse of the stretcher and with label of the frame shop "Krützmann" from Amsterdam, in white shadow gap frame, folded dimensions approx. 35 x 45 cm. Artist info: Dutch painter (1975 Utrecht), solo exhibitions in the Netherlands, Spain and the USA as well as in group exhibitions in Milan and Bologna, studied art in The Hague, Barcelona and Utrecht, later visiting professor at the VU University in Amsterdam, where he presented his "Ekphrasis" project, in the course of which poems, essays and melodies were created to accompany his paintings, source: Website of the artist.
