datiert (18)98, auf der Plinthe signiert Aichele., Bronze polychrom in Kaltbemalung staffiert, Mann mit Turban und Gewand, auf einem bockigen Esel reitend, auf naturalistisch gestalteter Felsenplinthe montiert, kleine Bereibungen, sonst altersgemäß gut erhalten, H gesamt 22,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: deutscher Bildhauer (1859 Markdorf bis 1910 Berlin), studierte 1875-1877 an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Stuttgart, anschließend bis 1880 an der Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbemuseums in Berlin, blieb ebenda ansässig, regelmäßig auf den Kunstausstellungen in Berlin, München und Düsseldorf vertreten, Quelle: Thieme-Becker und Internet sowie Berman, Bronzes Sculptors and Founders, Vol. III, S. 734, Abb. 2661.

dated (18)98, signed Aichele on the plinth, polychrome cold-painted bronze, man with turban and robe, riding on a bucking donkey, mounted on a naturalistic rock plinth, small abrasions, otherwise in good condition according to age, h 22.5 cm overall. Artist information: German sculptor (1859 Markdorf - 1910 Berlin), studied 1875-1877 at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Stuttgart, then until 1880 at the Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbemuseums in Berlin, remained resident there, regularly represented at art exhibitions in Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf, source: Thieme-Becker and Internet as well as Berman, Bronzes Sculptors and Founders, Vol. III, p. 734, ill. 2661.
