Pair of Empire armchairsin the style of Pierre-Antoine Belanger (1757-1827), Paris c. 1800, solid cubic mahogany and veneered, simple frame with elegantly curved and moulded armrests ending in a large volute with carved rosette, old restoration, covers renewed, backrests with glued breakage points, otherwise stable condition with beautiful patina, dimensions 93 x 60 x 58 cm each.
