Since 1982 Rudolf Ewerhart lived with his wife Helene in the late baroque Burghaus Wassenach near the Laacher See, the aristocratic residence of the Knights of Kolb built from 1772-1775. Parallel to the extensive renovation
In 1996 he organized exclusive concerts in the “Music in the Burghaus Wassenach” series in the hall of the mansion, at which newly acquired or freshly restored instruments from the collection in the were the focus.

HISTORICAL VIOLIN LUDOVICUS RICOZALI CREMONA WITH CASE AND BOW
Historical, probably Saxon or Bohemian violin, signed on a glued-in slip of paper with "Ludovicus ricoza[li] [Cr]emona anno 17[..]". The two-piece back is lightly flamed. The fingerboard of stained Birnbaum is probably still original.
A bow with the initials "FB" carved on the top is included.
A German nickel silver mounted bow with "Vuillaume-Frosch" and the initials "FB" carved on the top is included.
A pitch pipe is included. Various signs of age and use.
