HAMMERFLÜGEL JOHANN GEORG KLEIN, OCKSTADT BEI FRANKFURT UM 1810 - HAMMERFLÜGEL JOHANN GEORG KLEIN, OCKSTADT BEI FRANKFURT UM 1810 Der Hammerflügel wurde von Johann Georg Klein (1771-1814) in Ockstadt gebaut. Das Instrument wurde 1996/97 für die Sammlung Ewerhart erworben. Die Rückwand des Flügels (linke Seite) ist nicht furniert, sondern geschwärzt. Drei Kniehebel bedienen die Mutationen: Moderator, Dämpfungsaufhebung und Fagott. Die Anlage einer vierten Mutation ist im Inneren des Instruments erkennbar, diese ist jedoch nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Klaviatur (FF-4c4) hat ein Stichmaß von 45,3cm. Das Instrument besitzt eine Wiener Mechanik sowie eine Stiefeldämpfung. Die Fängerleiste ist derzeit nicht vorhanden. Die Hämmerchen sind beledert. Der Flügel hat einen einteiligen Steg. Die Besaitung ist zwischen FF-e2 zweichörig; f2-c4 dreichörig. The installation of a fourth mutation can be seen inside the instrument, but it is no longer present. The keyboard (FF-4c4) has a 3-octave-span of 45.3 cm. The instrument has a Viennese action as well as a Viennese damping. There are no checks present at the moment. The hammers are covered with leather. The piano has a continuous bridge. The stringing is double strung within FF-e2 and triple strung within f2-c4.
