Jh., Eisenguss mit schöner Patina, unter dem Sockel signiert: Munkáts (in lateinischer Schreibschrift), stehender Stier, auf profiliertem rechteckigen Sockel, altersgemäß guter Zustand, 12 x 7,5 x 14 cm (HxBxL); Die Eisengießerei in Munkáts, ungar. Munkács, besitzt eine große Tradition. Die Stadt hat eine wechselvolle Geschichte und gehörte bis 1918 zur K.u.K. Österreich-Ungarischen Donaumonarchie, anschließend zur Tschechoslowakei, nach 1945 zur Sowjetunion und seit 1991 zur Ukraine. Imperial and Royal Austro-Hungarian iron foundry Munkáts Bull, 19th century, cast iron with beautiful patina, signed under the base: Munkáts (in Latin script), standing bull, on a profiled rectangular base, good age-appropriate condition, 12 x 7.5 x 14 cm (HxWxL); The iron foundry in Munkáts, Hungary, has a great tradition. The city has an eventful history and belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire until 1918, then to Czechoslovakia, after 1945 to the Soviet Union and since 1991 to Ukraine.
