Dresler art pottery, Grootenburg/Krefeld Relief Woman of the Apocalypse, around 1935
earthenware, shaped in relief, decorated in cobalt blue, sulfur yellow and turquoise, glazed, the workshop mark on the back, relief Madonna with the child Jesus, with a halo standing on a crescent moon, under a circle segment with side columns, 19.5 x 12.5 x 3.5 cm (HxWxD), additional a relief depicting the Aachen Cathedral before the neo-Gothic tower roof was erected, ceramic relief, celadon-colored glaze, unmarked, 23 x 19.5 x 4 cm (HxWxD), good age-appropriate condition
Paul Dresler (1879-1950), attended the Debschitz School in Munich, and was a member of the German Werkbund.

Kunsttöpferei Dresler, Grootenburg/Krefeld Relief Mondsichel-Madonna, um 1935
Steingut, weißer Scherben, reliefiert ausgeformt, u.a. in kobaltblau, schwefelgelb und türkisfarben staffiert, glasiert, rückseitig die Werkstättenmarke, Relief Madonna mit dem Jesuskind, mit Strahlenkranz auf einer Mondsichel stehend, unter einem Kreissegment mit seitlichen Säulen, 19,5 x 12,5 x 3,5 cm (HxBxT), dazu ein Relief mit Darstellung des Aachener Domes vor Errichtung des neugotischen Turmdaches, Keramikrelief, seladonfarben glasiert, unbezeichnet, 23 x 19,5 x 4 cm (HxBxT), altersgemäß guter Zustand
Paul Dresler (1879-1950), besuchte die Debschitz Schule in München, Mitglied im Deutschen Werkbund.
