Mary Pettis Riverscape Oil Painting
Mary Pettis (American, 20th/21st c). Oil on board landscape pochade painting depicting a river landscape, possibly the St. Croix or Mississippi Rivers in Minnesota. Signed along the lower right.
Sight; height: 10 1/4 in x width: 13 1/2 in. Framed; height: 13 1/2 in x width: 16 3/4 in x depth: 1 1/4 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible losses, creases, or tears. There is a small, brown accretion along the upper left quadrant. There are two losses to the frame, along the top edge. Not examined out of frame. No signs of restoration under UV light.
