2 Fine Chinese Carved Jade Cabbages
Group of two Chinese jade carvings in the form of cabbages, carved from mottled green and white jade. Both rest on lacquered wood stands. With a silk storage box.
(Larger jade, without wooden stand) height: 3 1/2 in x width: 7 in x depth: 2 1/2 in. Weight: 1,036.1 g. (Smaller jade, without wooden stand) height: 3 1/2 in x width: 5 in x depth: 2 in. Weight: 641.5 g. (Box) height: 6 in x width: 12 in x depth: 10 3/4 in.
Condition: There are no major chips, cracks or losses. There is calcification throughout. There is wear as expected from age.
