2 Early 20th c. German Mechanical Tin Toys
Group of two lithographed mechanical tin toys, early 20th century. One of the items is a German Lehmann "New Century Cycle" lithographed tin wind-up toy. Depicting two figures, one holding an umbrella. The second item is a German Gunthermann billiard tin lithographed toy, depicting a figure shooting pool.
(Pool player) height: 5 1/4 in x width: 6 in x depth: 2 3/4 in. (Carriage rider) height: 5 1/2 in x width: 3 in x depth: 5 1/2 in.
Condition: Both toys appear to have perhaps been overwound. The pool player lacking the billiards ball. Some tarnishing, losses to the decoration, and dust throughout. Some oxidization to the metal.
