Flemish School of the 17th Century - The Prayer in the Garden
Oil on copper. Dimensions: 52 x 46 cm. "The Prayer in the Garden" is an emblematic work of 17th-century Flemish art, painted on copper, a less common support that allows for a more detailed execution. Christ is depicted in the scene of Gethsemane, while he prays fervently, while the apostles sleep nearby.
