INFORMATION: Marc Chagall began to engrave the copperplates illustrating "Les Fables" by La Fontaine in 1927. The print was completed on the presses of the Atelier Haasen in 1952.
A photocopy of the proof of the print signed by Chagall will be attached to the etching.
