Original first edition woodcut on Mulberry Paper. In 1891, Imao Keinen published a significant work comprised of four volumes titled "Keinen Kacho Gafu" (Bird and Flower Albums by Keinen). These volumes collectively feature illustrations of 160 distinct birds. The publication of "Keinen Kacho Gafu" was carried out by Nihimura Soemon in Kyoto. Additionally, the identities of the carvers and printers are known: Carver - Tanaka Jirokichi, Printers - Miki Jinzaburo and Tanaka Harubei. This compilation of albums stands as Keinen's most esteemed contribution to Japanese print art. Slightley yellowed paper, piereced 4 times on one border, otherwise in very good condition, 36.5 x 25 cm.

Gravure sur bois originale en première édition sur papier mûrier. En 1891, Imao Keinen a publié un ouvrage important composé de quatre volumes intitulés « Keinen Kacho Gafu » (Albums d'oiseaux et de fleurs de Keinen). Ces volumes présentent collectivement des illustrations de 160 oiseaux distincts. La publication de "Keinen Kacho Gafu" a été réalisée par Nihimura Soemon à Kyoto. De plus, les identités des sculpteurs et imprimeurs sont connues : sculpteur – Tanaka Jirokichi, imprimeurs – Miki Jinzaburo et Tanaka Harubei. Cette compilation d'albums constitue la contribution la plus estimée de Keinen à l'art de l'estampe japonaise. Papier légèrement jauni, repercé 4 fois sur une bordure, sinon très bon état, 36,5 x 25 cm.
