המחבר כותב: וכדי לזכות את רבת בני עמי יושבי בוכארא העתקתים ללשון פארסי צח באותיות מרובעות ובנקודות, ע"י המעתיק המתרגם מו’ שמעון חכם יצ"ו תושב ירושלים.
הטקסט כולו בתג’יכית-יהודית (בוכארית), באותיות עבריות, פרט לשערים ולהסכמות.
המחבר רבי אברהם אמינוף - (תרי"ד-תרצ"ט), מחכמי בוכרה שעלו לירושלים. גאון וצדיק, ולימים רבה של שכונת הבוכרים בירושלים.
