רבי יעקב דוד וינטרויב מראדמסק - מקורב לגדולי האדמורי"ם ובהם רבי מנחם מנדל מוורקא, רבי בעריש מביאלא, בעל הישמח ישראל מאלכסנדר, רבי אהרן צבי מביאלא, ורבי מנחם מנדל מסטריקוב. מחסידי סטריקוב, מלמד תורה וחסידות ואף הגישו לו קוויטלאך (למרות שלא שימש כרב או כאדמו"ר). נדפס על ידו בנו רבי נח וינטרוב, בשנת האבל על אביו, עם הקדמה בה הוא כותב בשבח המחבר.
