הספר הראשון שנדפס מרבי ישראל סלנטר בחייו. אגרת המוסר דפו"ר - יקרא בשם גאון ישראל. נדפסה בעילום שם המחבר - קניגסברג תרי״ח.
ספר תומר דבורה לרבי משה קורדבירו, עם קונטרס 'גאון ישראל' - מכתב מאחד גדול בישראל שמו (והוא רבי ישראל ליפקין מסאלנט – סלנטר). מהדורה ראשונה של דברי תורה ומוסר ממנו, שבכל המהדורות הבאות נקראה 'אגרת המוסר'. קניגסברג, תרי"ח [1858].
