לספר צורף מכתב תודה וברכה , על נייר מכתבים של המחבר רבי משה פיינשטיין. במכתב כותב הרב רבי דוד פיינשטיין תודה לנגיד ר' בן ציון פישהוף שסייע להדפסת הספר. ואכן, בתחילת הספר יש עמוד הנצחה של התורם
הגאון הרב דוד פיינשטיין (תרפ”ט- תש”ף), היה בנו בכורו של ר’ דוד פיינשטיין, וממשיכו כראש ישיבת מתיבתא תפארת ירושלים. נודע בכל העולם כאחד מגדולי הפוסקים בדור, וכן כבעל חסד עצום. היה עניו ביותר, והתגורר בפשטות עצומה בלווער איסט סייד.
