מכתב מאת הגאון רבי מרדכי גיפטר קליבלנד, תשמ"ה.
מכתב תורני בעניין מצוות התשובה, וכן בדברי הרבי עקיבא איגר בספרו 'דרוש וחידוש'.
הגאון רבי מרדכי גיפטר - (תרע"ו-תשס"א), ראש ישיבת טעלז בקליבלנד באוהיו שבארצות הברית, חבר מועצת גדולי התורה ומגדולי הרבנים בארצות הברית. יליד ארה"ב, אך גלה למקום תורה לישיבת טעלז שבליטא. שם למד תורה אצל הגאון הפלאי רבי מרדכי פוגרמנסקי. בתשל"ו עלה לארץ ישראל והקים את ישיבת טלז בקריית טלז-סטון, אך בתשל"ט חזר לארצות הברית לכהן כראש ישיבת טעלז בקליבלנד.
