Letter on official document paper of Agudas Chasidei Chabad in the United States and Canada, sent by Rabbi Shmaryahu Gur Aryeh, son-in-law of Rebbe Rayatz, to Rabbi Zalman Havlin, New York, 5707.
Rabbi Gur-Aryeh is honored to invite Rabbi Havlin to the sixth Chabad convention, which took place in the life of the Admor Ravitz, and Rabbi Gur Aryeh served as its first deputy, while Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson (later the Reitz Rebbe's successor) Seventh of Chabad) served as second lieutenant.
"We are now able to bring 30 of our yeshiva students here in Shanghai, and a few days ago a special emissary was sent to Europe to deal with the rescue of Torah scholars scattered throughout the diaspora ..." The letter is signed by Rabbi Gur Aryeh.
