LARGE PORCELAIN LID TUREEN WITH PRÉSENTOIRE FROM A "FLORA DANICA" SERVICE.
Royal Kopenhagen.
Date: Moulding 1965.
Maker/Designer: Model J.C. Bayer.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours, golden.
Description: On a large présentoire with a raised centre section, a bulging lidded tureen with
surrounding decoration of fence bindweed ('Convolvulus Sepium L.ß coloratus Lge'). The
handles on the bowl and the lid in the form of branches that begin in small applied
flowers and leaves.
Measurement: Height with présentoire 26cm, ø33cm.
Mark: Manufacture mark in green. Year's mark 1965. Wave mark, painted blue under glaze. Model number 20/3562 Hnd Malerinitialien HiX, alx/hhx. Latin name of the plants in Sc.
