CIRCULAR MULTIMEDIA BOWL WITH DELICATE RELIEF.

Date: 18th c.
Technique: Root wood, carved, inside tortoise shell.
Description: On the upper side a fine bas-relief with a young couple harvesting cherries, in the
background a river with a bridge and pavilion. The motto 'A Friande de Cerises' at the
bottom. The underside with trompe l'oeil decoration in the form of a basket weave.
Measurement: Height 2cm, Ø 7cm.
