KNOLL International pair of Tulip side tables by Eero Saarinen, Ø 41cm2 round tables with solid marble tops from the "Tulip Collection", designed in 1956 by the Finnish designer Eero Saarinen (1910-1961) for KNOLL INC. white aluminum base, on it fixed marble top Ø ca. 41cm and 20mm thick, probably Calacatta marble. Surface sealed, h. 52cm. Marked in the foot "Knoll International / 160-1-3". Good overall condition with signs of age and use. Early version, mid-20th century design classic of the Mid-century modern.
