KNOLL International dining table by Eero Saarinen, 137cmround table with solid marble top from the "Tulip Collection", designed in 1956 by the Finnish designer Eero Saarinen (1910-1961) for KNOLL INC. white aluminum base, on it put marble top Ø 137cm and 19mm thick, probably Calacatta marble. Surface sealed, h. 72cm. Good overall condition with signs of age and use, and superficial light scratches. Early version, mid-20th century design classic mid-century modern. Weißer Aluminiumfuß, darauf gesteckte Marmorplatte Ø 137cm und 19mm dick, wohl Calacatta Marmor. Oberfläche versiegelt, H. 72cm. Guter Gesamtzustand mit Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, sowie oberflächliche leichte Kratzer. Frühe Ausführung, Mitte 20. Jh. Designklassiker des Mid-century modern. Passend dazu wird auch ein 6er Satz originale Tulpen-Stühle von Saarinen in unserer Auktion angeboten.
