Bronze statue of King Edmund II, early 20th century.Very detailed depiction of the king on a rearing horse, with raised battle axe, the serious face turned towards the viewer. Under the horse lies a shield with a lion emblem. H. ca. 45 cm, w. ca. 35 cm. Weight: 6,15 kg. Abrasion marks present, as well as several small breakages, part of the sword hilt and a stirrup missing. The plinth has been reinforced and partially detached from the wooden base.Bronzestatue von König Edmund II., Anfang 20. Jh.Sehr detaillierte Darstellung des Königs auf einem sich aufbäumenden Pferd, mit erhobener Streitaxt, das ernste Gesicht dem Betrachter zugewandt. Unter dem Pferd liegt ein Schild mit einem Löwenemblem. H. ca. 45 cm, B. ca. 35 cm. Gewicht: 6,15 kg. Abriebspuren vorhanden, sowie mehrere kleine Bruchstellen, ein Teil des Schwertgriffes und ein Steigbügel fehlen. Die Plinthe ist verstärkt worden und teilweise vom Holzsockel abgelöst.
