Vorderseite zeigt das fein relieffierte Bildnis des Königs im Alter von 28 Jahren, er begann seine Regierung am 31. Mai 1740. Umlaufende Inschrift auf Latein "FRIDERICUS II BORUSSORUM REX INCIPIT REGNARE XXXI MAI MDCCXL - MAGNUS AB INTEGRO SAECLORUM NASCITUR ORDO", unten mit Medailleur bez. "G. Loos Dir. / C. Pfeuffer fecit.". Rückseitgig Darstellung des Reiterstandbilds Friedrich des Großen von Christian Rauch, Umlaufende Inschrift " MANET MANSURUSQUE EST IN ANIMIS HOMINUM IN AETERNITATE TEMPORUM - FRIDERICI MAGNI SAECULARIA REGNI INITI XXXI MAI MDCCCXI". Bronze medal from 1840 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the reign. Obverse shows finely relieved portrait of the king at the age of 28, he began his reign on May 31, 1740. Circulating inscription in Latin "FRIDERICUS II BORUSSORUM REX INCIPIT REGNARE XXXI MAI MDCCXL - MAGNUS AB INTEGRO SAECLORUM NASCITUR ORDO", below inscribed by medalist "G. Loos Dir. / C. Pfeuffer fecit.". On reverse depiction of equestrian statue of Frederick the Great by Christian Rauch, circulating inscription " MANET MANSURUSQUE EST IN ANIMIS HOMINUM IN AETERNITATE TEMPORUM - FRIDERICI MAGNI SAECULARIA REGNI INITI XXXI MAI MDCCCXI".
