CACAO DROSTE
Porcelain sign / enamel sign, convex, stenciled and lithographed, Haarlem/NL c. 1910, 38 x 60 cm, the maid with steaming cocoa cup is a classic motif on tin cans and packaging - but an absolute rarity in enamel, the drawing of the lady is extremely finely lithographed - and yet it appears extremely present on a deep red ground, the condition is very good according to the age, here and there a little scratch and a hardly noticeable, small superficial damage in the maid's bonnet are to be mentioned, it remains an ornament GERMAN DESCRIPTION:Emailschild, gewölbt, schabloniert und lithographiert, Haarlem/NL um 1910, 38 x 60 cm, die Magd mit dampfender Kakao-Tasse ist als Motiv auf Blechdosen und Verpackungen ein Klassiker - in Emaille aber eine absolute Seltenheit, die Zeichnung der Dame ist äußerst fein lithographiert - und doch wirkt sie auf tiefrotem Grund überaus präsent, die Erhaltung ist dem Alter entsprechend sehr gut, hier und da ein Kratzerchen und eine kaum auffallende, kleine oberflächliche Beschädigung in der Haube der Magd sind zu erwähnen, es bleibt ein Schmückstück
