Porcelain sign / enamel sign, bent, stenciled , Berlin dated 1/36, 50 x 30 cm, the back is still decorated with the mounting instructions of the enamelling works Gottfried Dichanz, Berlin, in fact the sign was first enamelled white before the various shades of blue were then boldly inlaid, the overprint then finally refined the overall image, an absolute masterpiece, even today the sign still shines fresh from the fire, only in the depiction the motif has minor litho flaws, in such fine condition I know of only two other copies at all GERMAN DESCRIPTION:Emailschild, abgekantet, schabloniert und umgedruckt, Berlin datiert 1/36, 50 x 30 cm, die Rückseite ziert noch die Montage-Anleitung des Emaillierwerks Gottfried Dichanz, Berlin, tatsächlich wurde das Schild zunächst weiß emailliert, bevor die verschiedenen Blautöne dann fett eingefühlt wurden, der Umdruck veredelte das Gesamtbild dann letztendlich, ein absolutes Meisterstück, noch heute strahlt das Schild brennfrisch, lediglich in der Darstellung hat das Motiv kleinere Lithofehlerchen, in solch feiner Erhaltung sind mir nur zwei weitere Exemplare überhaupt bekannt
