Porcelain sign / enamel sign, convex, stenciled and lithographed, F dated: 17-7-35, 202 x 98 cm, Publicité Interrail, an exquisite railway station sign, so massive that "struts" were stamped diagonally into the backing material to provide stability. The motif of the girl in stylised Art Déco, signed: d'après Création Edia Paris, even in France there is no other known copy of this - absolutely fascinating to have such an "enamel poster" in front of you, the patina and not-so-fresh colours testify to the fact that the good piece hung out in the open for a long time with advertising effect - and yet it remained largely spared from chipping GERMAN DESCRIPTION:Emailschild, abgekantet, schabloniert und lithographiert, F datiert: 17-7-35, 202 x 98 cm, Publicité Interrail, eine exquisite Bahnhofsreklame, so massiv, dass in das Trägermaterial diagonal "Streben" geprägt wurden, um für Stabilität zu sorgen. Das Motiv des Mädchens in stilisiertem Art Déco, signiert: d'après Création Edia Paris, selbst in Frankreich ist kein weiteres dieser Exemplare bekannt - absolut faszinierend, ein solches "Emailplakat" vor sich haben, die Patina und nicht mehr ganz so frische Farben zeugen davon, dass das gute Stück lange Zeit werbewirksam im Freien hing - und doch blieb es von Abplatzern weitestgehend verschont
