Enamel sign, convex, boldly stenciled like sugar casting, also lithographed, Paris/F circa 1910, 110 x 63 cma heavy, extremely imposing production, the star of the cross firmly in the beak, an eagle lands on the typeface - it seems as if the king of the air here gave the company its identification, its still well-known trademark. This is probably the most important of the classic "MAGGI" enamel signs, to find it in unrestored original condition is a real pleasure, the surface is highly shining and scratch-free, only the plumage of the eagle is partly a little worn, to this day I do not know of a better example. We do only sell old original items - no reproductions or fakes. GERMAN DESCRIPTION: Emailschild, gewölbt, fett, zum Teil zuckergussartig schabloniert, zudem lithographiert, Paris/F um 1900, 110 x 63 cm, eine schwere, äußerst imposante Fertigung, den Kreuzstern fest im Schnabel landet ein Adler auf dem typischen Schriftbild - es scheint, als ob der König der Lüfte hier der Firma ihre Kennung, die noch heute bekannte Schutzmarke übergitb. Es handelt sich hierbei wohl um das bedeutenste der klassischen "MAGGI" Emailschilder, es in unrestauriertem Originalzustand aufzufinden macht wirklich Freude, die Oberfläche ist hochglänzend und kratzerfrei, lediglich das Federkleid des Adlers ist zum Teil etwas abgegriffen, mir ist bis heute kein besseres Exemplar bekannt.
