Reverse glass lithography, partly colored by hand, Vienna/AT early 1950ies, 53 x 76 cm, a high quality manufacturing, the Horny radio factory was taken over by Philips in 1936 and from then on produced all of the company's devices sold in Austria. The brand name, which is somewhat atypical was composed of the name of the company founder (Friedrich Horny) and the product, a radio receiver. The label is accompanied by pictures of the place where it was found, an old radio shop owned by Hans Kronfuss in Vienna, and a letter addressed to him.
