Bayonet France
c. 1860, Chassepot bayonet, wedge blade with hollow groove on both sides, screwable full muzzle ring (screw missing), brass grip, probably German loot, as the quillons were re-punched with IR 11 (Infantry Regiment 11) and the blade with AC (Alcoso), the brass grip was filed off on the muzzle side, trigger works, scabbard missing, Z 3, iron parts slightly corroded, L total. 59 cm.
