Schlegel "Motiv aus Böhmen"" on the inside according to the reverse of the frame. A. Schlegel "Motif from Bohemia"", framed under a passe-partout in a moulding of the time, passe-partout approx. 13,5 x 17 cm. Artist info: Friedrich August Schlegel, German painter (1828 Heidersdorf to 1895 Dresden), pupil of Ludwig Richter at the Meissen School of Painting and Drawing, active in Dresden, source: Thieme-Becker, Singer and Friedrich "Ludwig Richter und sein Schülerkreis".
