Four works, farmstead, signed and dated "Fritz Tröger 1976", biros and crayons, sheet dimensions approx. 51.5 x 73 cm; autumnal landscape with farmstead, signed and dated "Fritz Tröger 1959", biros and pastel, sheet dimensions approx. 50 x 70 cm; farmer in the field, signed and dated "Fritz Tröger 1951", pastel crayons, dimensions approx. 50 x 70 cm and farmstead at the edge of the forest, dated and signed "1955 Fritz Tröger", pastel crayons, dimensions approx. 50 x 69,5 cm, partly slight lack of preservation. Artist's info: Germ. Painter, draughtsman and graphic artist (1894 Dresden to 1978 Dresden), studied 1915-18 at the Dresden School of Arts and Crafts under Margarete Junge and Paul Rößler, 1918-24 at the Dresden Academy under Max Feldbauer, Otto Hettner and Otto Gußmann, undertook study trips to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, France (Paris) and the CSR, from 1925 freelance, member of the Dresden Secession 1925/26, 1930-31 member of the artists' group 'Aktion', which subsequently merged into the New Dresden Secession in 1931, 1930-32 member of the Free Artists' Association of Saxony, 1929-33 experiments with ceramic painting in the Meissen manufactory, from 1936 country studio in Laske near Kamenz, 1944 exhibition and sales ban, from 1947 member of the artists' group "Das Ufer" in Dresden, member of the Association of Visual Artists (VBK) of the GDR, active in Dresden, Source: Vollmer, Eisold "Künstler in der DDR" and Internet.
