Sacred Family with St. John's Boy
Depiction of Mary as "Maria lactans" with bared breast, nursing the infant Jesus on her right arm, to her right in the background the youthful John the Baptist and to the left behind her Joseph, low pastose, religious genre painting with partial gilding, probably 18th c., unsigned, according to the previous owner probably Cusco School Peru, wax-doubled, restored, somewhat in need of restoration, in a splendid, approx. 20 cm wide, carved and openwork gilded frame with backed mirror glass (in need of restoration), folding dimensions approx. 57.5 x 47 cm.
