tief verschneites Gehöft in flacher Landschaft, Radierung, um 1900, unter der Darstellung in Blei rechts signiert "Kalckreuth d.J.", in der Platte ligiertes Monogramm, im ehemaligen Passepartoutausschnitt gebräunt, an der oberen Blattkante Einriss, Darstellungsmaße ca. 22 x 29,7 cm, Blattmaße ca. 40 x 47 cm. Künstlerinfo: eigentl. Leopold Karl Walter Graf von Kalckreuth, dt. Maler und Graphiker (1855 Düsseldorf bis 1928 Gut Eddelsen bei Hamburg), Sohn des Malers Stanislaus Graf von Kalckreuth, Studium in Weimar, ab 1878 Studium an der Akademie in München und Bekanntschaft mit Franz von Lenbach, seit 1885 in Weimar ansässig, 1895-99 an der Staatlichen Akademie in Karlsruhe, Mitglied im Hamburger Kunstverein von 1832, 1900-05 Direktor der Stuttgarter Kunstschule, Gründungsmitglied des Stuttgarter Künstlerbundes, 1908 Gründungsmitglied des Künstlerbundes Schlesien, 1927 Verleihung des Bayerischen Maximiliansordens für Wissenschaft und Kunst, Quelle: Thieme-Becker und Wikipedia.

Deeply snow-covered farmstead in a flat landscape, etching, around 1900, signed "Kalckreuth d.J." in pencil below the image on the right, ligatured monogram in the plate, browned in the former mat opening, tear at the upper edge of the sheet, image dimensions approx. 22 x 29.7 cm, sheet dimensions approx. 40 x 47 cm. Artist information: actually Leopold Karl Walter Graf von Kalckreuth, German painter and graphic artist. Painter and graphic artist (1855 Düsseldorf - 1928 Gut Eddelsen near Hamburg), son of the painter Stanislaus Graf von Kalckreuth, studied in Weimar, from 1878 studied at the Academy in Munich and met Franz von Lenbach, from 1885 resident in Weimar, 1895-99 at the State Academy in Karlsruhe, Member of the Hamburg Art Society from 1832, 1900-05 director of the Stuttgart Art School, founding member of the Stuttgart Artists' Association, 1908 founding member of the Silesian Artists' Association, 1927 awarded the Bavarian Maximilian Order for Science and Art, source: Thieme-Becker and Wikipedia.
